MISSION

We are passionate about reaching the Middle East and North Afria (MENA) regions. Our director, who has deep ties to the region, knows firsthand the importance of connection and community. We are dedicated to nurturing personal growth and equipping women through our programs. We believe that we can partner together to make a meaningful impact for Christ.

JOURNEY

What began with just a few women has steadily grown into a ministry reaching across multiple countries. Today, that work continues to expand, equipping more women through biblical training who can go back to their local churches equipped to teach the women there.

As we equip more women through biblical training we have a growing need for resources in the Arabic-language. GRW is committed to making faithful teaching more accessible across the region.

The Bible Is God's Word

We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It is completely true and contains all we need in order to know and walk with God.

There is One God

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, perfectly holy, sovereign, and good.

Jesus Is God's Son

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is fully man and fully God, the one and only Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and was raised on the third day.

Humanity was Created by God

We believe that humanity was directly created by God in His image and likeness, yet fell from innocence through Adam’s act of disobedience. As a result of this sin, all people have incurred the penalty of spiritual and physical death and are inherently corrupt in their nature.

God created men and women in His image

We believe God created men and women in His image and gave them distinct, complementary roles in the church. The office of pastor is reserved for qualified men. Women are to faithfully teach other women and children.

Salvation is by Faith in Jesus Christ

We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ. It is a free gift for all who repent and believe; it is impossible to earn. It will completely transform our life and eternity.

The Church is Designed by God

We believe God designed the church. The church is a local group of His people that gather together to worship Jesus, grow more like Jesus, care for each other, and make disciples among all nations.

Jesus Will Return

We believe that Jesus is coming back. He will return to judge the living and the dead, condemning those who reject Him to perish, but rewarding His followers with eternal life.

Heaven and Hell are Real

We believe Heaven and Hell are real. Hell is the eternal, horrifying destination for all who turn from Jesus, and Heaven is the eternal, satisfying home of God with all who trust in Jesus.

About Our Director

Years of cross-cultural ministry, biblical training, and a love for teaching God’s Word prepared Abi B. for a calling she never expected. What began with equipping a small group of women has grown into Gospel Rooted Women, a multi-country ministry committed to training women across the MENA region to know, teach, and multiply God’s Word faithfully.

GRW Board Members

We Are a United Team on Mission for the Gospel

Noreen conducts public policy research for a nonprofit think tank and brings expertise in measuring and evaluating programmatic impact to GRW. She previously served on the board of an educational nonprofit and is active in her local church community.

Noreen C.Public Policy Research

Shelly has served local churches by teaching women and children for over thirty years. She is a trained instructor in expository Bible teaching methodology, helping equip others to study and teach Scripture faithfully, and has coordinated children's curriculum for international training conferences. She brings a background in law and education to her work with GRW, along with experience serving on the board of a Christian school. She and her husband have adult children and grandchildren.

Shelly P.Women's Director, Lawyer

Josiah serves as a Vice President of Development at a faith-based nonprofit supporting families of children with intellectual disabilities. His experience centers on strategic relationship building, development operations, and fundraising. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and psychology.
